The Chief of Bibiani who is also the occupant of the Aduana Royal Stool of Bibiani Nana Ayima Ngoa Kodom II and his entourage, paid a courtesy call to the Bibiani Police Commander and his Officers at Bibiani
Municipal Police headquarters.
The meeting was necessitated to ensure how best the traditional leaders and the Police who have the mandatory
responsibilities and resources of the state to provide peace and security to the people of Bibiani community as a mining town.
Graciously, the Chief of Bibiani applauded the Police Commander and his Officers about the professional manner
they have discharged their lawful duties in the community and especially, how they have protected lives and
properties since the operations of Mensin Gold Asante Mines in Bibiani was started in 2021 till date.
The Chief stated that, the Police should consult him in all matters relating to tradition and customs for advice.
Assuredly, the Chief pledged his unflinching support to collaborate with the Police in the Municipality to
organize energetic but honest youth who would form “Community Watchdog Committee” to serve as an
additional security measures since security is a shared responsibility.
